LiveEO’s ambitious goal is to monitor 1 billion assets across the globe with its unique SaaS solution until 2030. Our team is as global as the satellite data we process and the customers we serve. As part of the Infra Team you will ensure the integrity, reliability, scalability, security and cost efficiency of LiveEO’s cloud resources. You will serve as the main focal point in the team to technical decisions, giving the tone for new developments (IaC), migration and support efforts while keeping legacy infrastructure production-ready. You will also help less senior colleagues with technical advice and conduct regular security and cost efficiency sessions.

Your challenge

Design and Develop new cutting-edge infrastructure on AWS using Terraform, implementing solutions built on Kubernetes and other related cutting-edge technologies
Empower users by providing expert technical support, ensuring they maximize the potential of our infrastructure to drive efficiency and success
Drive innovation by delivering robust infrastructure services to downstream product teams, fueling the success of LiveEO’s solutions across all product lines and empowering cutting-edge capabilities
Design and implement the migration to a multi-account approach on AWS
Mentor and inspire junior developers by guiding them through complex code reviews and deployment strategies, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning

Your profile

Must to have:

Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes
Skilled in building CI/CD pipelines
Expertise in Linux, bash scripting, and Python programming
Extensive background in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, highly available infrastructure
In-depth knowledge of AWS services and the AWS technical landscape
Solid understanding of networking principles and TCP/IP
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and GitLab
Experienced with observability and logging solutions
Knowledge of AWS Landing Zone and Control Tower
Collaborative team player with excellent listening and contribution skills
DevOps mindset
Fluent in written and verbal English communication
Start-up/scale-up background, adept at navigating organizational complexity and change
You are located in Berlin or elsewhere within the EU with a currently valid work permit

Nice to have:

AWS and/or Terraform certifications
Proficient with Ansible
Familiar with SOC2 and ISO27001 standards
Knowledge of WAFs
Skilled with GitLab CI/CD
