Your challenge
As a DevOps Intern on the Infrastructure Team, you will contribute to the maintenance and development of LiveEO’s cloud infrastructure. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work with cloud technologies, coding, and networking concepts in a fast-paced environment.
The Infrastructure Team is a key support unit, providing the foundation for various product teams at LiveEO. In this role, you will work closely with engineers from different teams to support their development, staging, and production environments. Your responsibilities may include:
Assisting in debugging connectivity issues.
Supporting CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting.
Conducting log analysis to help understand and resolve complex problems.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is
located in Berlin, Germany. For this role, you will need to have a
valid work permit that allows you to work
full-time (35 hours per week) for the duration of 6 months.
If would be great if you had:
- Coding Knowledge: Proficiency in Python and Bash (scripting experience is a plus).
- Cloud Fundamentals: Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts, preferably AWS.
- Networking: Knowledge of networking principles and TCP/IP.
- Version Control: Experience working with GitLab or similar version control systems.
- Operating Systems: Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line operations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Clear and effective communication skills in English.
- A collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
And it would be
even greater if you also had:
- Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with Terraform or similar automation tools.
- Containerization: Basic understanding of Docker and container orchestration.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Knowledge of how CI/CD pipelines work and their role in software deployment.
- Additional Technical Skills:
- Exposure to PostgreSQL databases.
- Understanding of observability and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
